It was two years ago on a whim that Destiny White attended a Playboy Casting Call in Chicago admitting that at the time she was "looking for a way to liberate herself" after ending a long-term relationship. Little did Destiny know that the experience would take her on an amazing journey through the Playboy universe -- first as an SE model appearing in seven themed issues, then as a Cyber Girl of the Week and Month and finally as our Model of the Year 2009. From the beginning, Destiny was a natural in front of the camera and her photos projected a sensuality and maturity beyond her years. She says, "Playboy became an outlet where I could express all of myself and let me be an example that it is natural to be nude." As for what lies ahead for Destiny, she's currently in the Himalayan Mountains studying with monks to become a yoga instructor and after she graduates from Ball State University next year her goal is to secure funding to open a yoga retreat where she can help others discover their inner chi. This beautiful girl -- inside and out -- sums up her future by saying, "my destiny is unknown to me, but I do know that life offers me amazing opportunities and adventures in each moment and I'm excited about the future." At we wrapped up the newsletter we don't know the final outcome but even if Koa-Marie's act didn't make it to the next round, we want to give her a huge shout out for getting that far! ... Making her debut in Voluptuous Vixens this month is Vancouver beauty Jessica King who will be signing copies of the Sun Media Sunshine Girl 2009 calendar at the Calgary Stampede festivities on Wednesday, July 8 ... We first introduced you to Stephanie Jane as one of our top 10 girls from the Phoenix Casting Call and most recently in the Girls with Girls issue. With her modeling career in high gear, Stephanie just won the title of Miss Transworld Motocross 2009 and will be featured in their July issue ... Toronto hottie Lana Tailor continues to rack up magazine covers, layouts and acting accolades with her most recent gig as the official host for the online webzine www.toromagazin.com ... Across the pond in the U.K. Lisamarie Bourke has been steadily working as a TV presenter and recently landed on the quiz show Brainbox TV.
