Today is about remembering and honoring all those who've sacrificed so much for our country. Sure we're running a sale, but we want to focus on what's really important. We've been discussing how to make this meaningful and not just another "it's a sale" email, so we decided as a team to donate to charities that provide for families of the fallen and veterans. A few of our thoughts are below, but we're open to votes and ideas--just reply and let us know where to direct our donations. We welcome you to donate as well! | | Children Of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund provides emotional, educational, financial, health & well-being, morale and children's enrichment assistance, & they've helped over 2,000 children and hundreds of military veterans affected by the conflicts in the First Gulf War, Afghanistan and Iraq. Fallen Patriots awards college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. Wounded Warrior Project honors the fallen by supporting the wounded, and they're matching donations dollar for dollar for Memorial Day! | | | | Please join us in observing the National Moment of Remembrance (at 3pm today, wherever you may be) and pause for a duration of one minute to remember those who have died in military service to the United States of America. | | | "We are who we are because they were who they were."
