RECAPPING THE KIDS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
On a course that would challenge most adults, kids fought hard for a Kids World Championship medal. Kids from around the world battled it out on the racecourse in Chongli, China, while facing elevation gains and rocky terrain that tested their every step. They tackled Bender, Z Walls, Bucket and Sand Carry, and loved every second of it.

The Kids World Championship attracted 200 racers from 13 countries. Congrats to our winners below:

Meet Jack!

Jack looked tough as nails on the racecourse in Austin, but he had a long road getting there. Born with premature respiratory issues, Jack required a stay at the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.

"He was a sick little guy but made it very evident that he was a fighter," says Donna Warman, retired NICU nurse who cared for Jack. "Each and every day he got stronger and overcame the hurdles and obstacle course that was the NICU."

But this year, at 4 years old, Jack ran his first Kids Spartan Race. He continues to exude the strength and determination he did in the NICU, and we know he will accomplish much more in the future.
