̶2̶0̶2̶4̶ - A Year Of Fighting For Human Rights 🍉

Hey ,

I hope you're having a blessed Wednesday. I wanted to take the time, on behalf of the entire Wear The Peace team, to thank you for an incredible 2024. I say the word "incredible" hesitantly, as we know that 2024 was a year that also brought immense suffering and challenges to so many around the world.

One of my favorite things this year was hearing the hundreds of stories of how our pieces built friendships within your communities. Countless stories of amazing interactions because a simple piece of clothing was able to tell two fellow human beings that they both care for humanity and in turn, care for each other. What a beautiful community you have helped us build. We are so blessed to be given this position where we can create pieces that do more than just bring awareness to causes, but also unite humans worldwide and give back. We thank you for giving us that honor to continue to do this.

In 2024, because of YOU, we were able to donate over $1,500,000 to oppressed humans worldwide.

The donations were:
  • $1,250,000 to Gaza for food, water, aid, evacuations, and medical treatments.
  • $55,000 to Lebanon for food and water.
  • $17,000 to Sudan for food baskets.
  • $17,000 to Congo for a new water well and food baskets.
  • $16,000 to Syria for food baskets.
  • $11,000 to Mali for new water wells.
  • $10,000 to Yemen for food baskets.
  • $5500 to Afghanistan for food and medical aid.
  • $3,000 to Burkina Faso for a new water well.
  • $3,000 to Niger for a new water well.
  • $3000 to Kenya for food and water.
  • $3000 to Bangladesh for a new water well
We were also able to donate over $30,000 to journalists in Gaza for basic necessities so that they are provided for and supported in carrying out their message to the world. We also donated 71,000+ new articles of clothing to refugee camps globally as well as 11,000+ pieces donated to homeless shelters in cities within the United States.

Thank you for being a part of our family. When we say 'family,' we truly mean it. We care for you, even if we haven't had the chance to meet most of you in person—just as we care for the humans of Gaza, most of whom we've never met either. Keep fighting for oppressed people everywhere. We will one day live in peace.

Peace and blessings,
Murad
