Which 1950s Anime Inspired a Naruto Shippuden Character?

Hello, anime fan! Hope you've had a good week!

This week I decided to hit the books and do some research on the origins of anime. What was the first anime film to be adapted into English? What was the first full color anime movie? Why was this film made? I found out all of those answers and more. I was even surprised to discover that one of the earliest anime movies heavily influenced the character design of a major character in Naruto!

Travel back in time to the 1950s in my list of the three most-important anime movies of that decade.
