| Dear Readers, Over the past week, we've thought a lot about our responsibilities as a travel site. While we haven't historically commented on current events, TripSavvy's mission—and that of our parent company, Dotdash—is to help people every day. We wouldn't be helping our readers or our team if we stayed silent. The deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and too many others have been seen around the world, uniting us all in protest of police brutality. Demonstrations have occurred from Minneapolis to Dublin to Brazil and as far away as New Zealand. TripSavvy stands with the protesters in asserting that Black lives matter and police brutality must end. Not later, or at some nebulous point in the future, but now. In today's newsletter, we're highlighting stories about sites, trails, and destinations significant to Black history and culture. For the remainder of the week, we will not be sending our newsletter out of respect and support for racial justice. If you want to take direct action and you are able, please consider donating to one of the organizations listed below: | | | | | | You are receiving this newsletter because you subscribed to the Travel Today newsletter.
