So my hair is like a less exaggerated (re: comedic) version of that.
Short of permanently moving to a climate with far less humidity than New York or, as one stylist suggested, spending $500 on a keratin treatment, I've tried everything to combat the frizz: air drying my hair, applying a deep conditioner once a week, using paraben- and sulfate-free shampoo—you name it.
I was complaining about my hair woes to a friend who also struggles with poofy hair, and she recommended that I get a hair dryer brush.
