It's no secret that beef, chicken and pork are the most widely consumed meats - but does one have more nutritional benefits than another? Or is it better for our environment to stick with a certain type of meat over others?

Questions like this have been flooding in lately so let's dive into all the juicy details – from environmental factors to nutrition profiles. We'll then take an even closer look at why vegetable oils may not be as healthy as once believed. Get ready: you're about to find out which kind of meat reigns supreme!

I'm going to show you why BEEF is actually significantly more nutritionally healthy for us (AND environmentally healthy and sustainable too) than any type of pork or chicken.

Most US chickens and pork are raised in dismal indoor environments, unable to see natural sunlight or get fresh air while they consume a diet packed with grains and soy. This has resulted in an incredibly high omega-6 linoleic acid content of around 18-20%, but the real danger is that Americans already have far too much consumption of this nutrient - it's been linked to heart disease, diabetes, cancer; even Alzheimer's!

In fact, one study on rats showed that the rats that ate more omega-6 fats GAINED body fat, whereas the rats that ate a lot of stearic acid (which is high in beef) actually LOST a significant amount of abdominal fat.

It's time to put beef on the wellness podium! This noble meat contains a mere 2-3% omega-6 linoleic acid, far less than chicken or pork with 7-10x more of this inflammatory fat. But that isn't all - it is also one of the most abundant sources of stearic acid which has been linked to lower calorie intake and trimming abdominal fat. So when you're looking for an anti-inflammatory food choice with major slim down powers, look no further than your trusty friend: BEEF!

While it might not surprise you, eating beef regularly can have a profound effect on your body and health. With up to two lbs of beef daily comes visible abdominal results with defined six pack muscles emerging in the lower abs area. Beef also packs more nutrients than chicken or pork due to its healthy diet compared to their grain-and soy based diets. Truly an amazing opportunity for improved physique!

For cattle raised for meat, there's a far different standard of living compared to chickens and pigs. Allowing these animals the freedom to roam in pastures filled with fresh air and sunshine is an agricultural practice that sets beef apart from other meats; this humane way of animal husbandry yields more nutrient-dense food while also being kinder on our environment.

If you're interested in learning about how superior grass fed beef really is both nutritionally and environmentally, take a look at Defending Beef written by vegan turned rancher Nicolette Hahn Niman!

Beef of any kind is a more nutritious and environmentally friendly choice than chicken or pork, even if it isn't grass-finished. Finishing beef feedlots are outdoors so cattle can enjoy the sunshine in contrast to the crowded indoor factory farms that chickens and pigs endure. Choosing conventional beef at your grocery store may be best for those with budget constraints who cannot obtain grass-finished versions locally.

While many of us may assume that the chicken and pork on our plates are 100% grain-fed, actually even feedlot beef - which can be inferior to grass-finished in terms of both nutrition and ecological sustainability - is less than half grain. The rest being a combination of hay, alfalfa, crop residues or other plant materials humans wouldn't normally eat but cows have special stomachs for breaking down into succulent steaks!

Eating beef can have massive health and environmental benefits due to its nutritious content. Not just that, but it's also produced on land where farming crops isn't beneficial or feasible so is a great way of utilizing otherwise unused areas.

Additionally, rotational grazing across ranchers for red meat animals such as bison, elk and deer has been proven the most sustainable form of agricultural farming yet discovered! This means not only do you get delicious food packed with nutrition – but helping the planet too!

We often think of grains, beans and other plant-based foods as being eco-friendly sources of sustenance but their monoculture farming practices are far more damaging than most realize. Plowing can harm soil bacteria while pesticides and herbicides put wildlife in danger.

Tropical forests have faced destruction to make way for exotic fruit plantations that never would've grown there naturally, posing a serious threat to delicate ecosystems across the globe. It's important we reconsider our traditional understanding about food production if we truly want healthier environments around us!

From almonds to avocados, it's no secret that some plant-based agriculture can have serious eco-system consequences. Yet vegans often forget that and overlook the sustainability aspects of grass fed RED meat production - which could in fact be the most environmentally friendly agricultural option available today!

Rotational grazing of cattle, bison and sheep is a powerful preservation tool for grassland ecosystems. Not only does it protect soil from erosion, keep groundwater and surface water clean, and promote ecological diversity - it also sequesters an incredible amount of carbon from the atmosphere into the soils!

This makes grass-fed red meat one of best climate change solutions available - in fact many studies have found that ruminant agriculture can be even more effective than other types at reducing atmospheric gasses like methane.  So choose your beef with care: let our planet reap some benefits while you do too!

Adhering to a vegan diet is often touted as the right choice for those wanting to make an environmentally friendly lifestyle shift, but many are missing out on critical information that soil scientists have discovered - how cattle and bison play an essential role in carbon capture.

Through their unique interactions with grasses and root shedding techniques, they support bacteria and fungi that store atmospheric carbon into stable forms within the ground itself! To learn more about this fascinating science of sustainability, be sure to check back for upcoming emails from experts who can shed light on its intricate workings.

White Oak Pastures in Georgia is a near-perfect example of what regenerative farming can achieve; it has increased soil carbon 10x over the past 20 years simply through rotational grazing!  There are several other incredible farms, such as Polyface Farms in Virginia and Belcampo Farms in California, that have begun to implement similar practices. US Wellness Meats provide delicious grass-finished options for people who want their food to be part of this quest towards sustainability - meaning healthy soils, abundant water supplies and nourishing nutrition.

Eating grass-fed red meat is not only an incredibly healthy choice for us, but it's also the planet's best friend! Supporting such farming methods has a positive environmental impact by sequestering carbon from the atmosphere into soil. For more information on this topic and how to make better decisions that suit both you and our environment, check out Diana Rodgers' Sacred Cow or Judith D Schwartz' Cows Save The Planet - two books that offer amazing insights about why switching to well-raised grass-fed meats is essential in fighting climate change.

If you're looking to take your health and the environment into your own hands, make sure to check out The Carnivore Code by my friend Paul Saladino. It provides a comprehensive look at how eating more meat-dominated meals can help with autoimmune issues as well as digestion while cutting down on plant toxins that often lead to these problems in the first place. For those wanting an even deeper understanding of chicken vs beef's distinct benefits -- they've got it covered too!
